Compensation and payroll is often the single largest line item in an organization's budget.  Deciding what to pay for positions is a strategic position driven by the Mission and Vision of the organization.  Understanding your organization's compensation philosophy is the entry point to designing a compensation system that both attracts and also helps retain talent.  In this session, participants will draft a compensation philosophy for their organization, review salary surveys to identify the market rate for a position and establish pay ranges.
