SHRM Learning System Champion The SHRM Learning System Champion status is a recognition of our chapter’s hard work to elevate the HR profession through professional development and HR knowledge among members, gained from SHRM certification. The competency-based SHRM-CP® and SHRM-SCP® credentials are the new global standard in HR certification. These credentials are among the first HR certifications focused on teaching and testing the practical, real-life information HR professionals need to advance their organizations, and excel in their careers today, including knowledge, skills, and behavioral competencies. SHRM Foundation Champion SHRM Foundation Champions are SHRM chapters that support the SHRM Foundation by making an annual donation to the SHRM Foundation, hosting a fundraising event to benefit the SHRM Foundation, and encouraging members to join Team Empower and pledging to support the SHRM Foundation’s annual initiative. With support from our chapter, the SHRM Foundation is able to fulfill their mission to champion workforce and workplace transformation.
SHRM Pinnacle Award The SHRM Pinnacle Award honors the highest achievements in affiliate development and contributions that serve HR professionals, advance the HR profession and enhance the SHRM community. The prestigious Pinnacle Award was awarded to BNHRC in 2016 for our collaboration efforts with the Heart of Illinois Human Resource Council and Central Illinois Human Resource Group for the inaugural Central Illinois HR Conference. |
