About the presentation:
The presentation will include the following topics:
-Understanding the employment barriers, challenges, AND assets of the military community as well as the different employment needs of veterans and military spouses.
-Becoming familiar with the current employment trends related to the military community including unemployment rates for veterans and military spouses.
-Learning to articulate the employment business case for hiring from the military community.
-Learning best practices across the employee lifecycle, applying HR strategies to military-connected employees.
Anyone can attend in place of an active BNHRC member. Guests are also welcomed to attend. The guest fee is $15 and must be paid by the registration deadline.
