  Join us for an engaging DEI-focused session hosted by BNHRC on Friday, November 7th from 2:30 – 4:00 PM at the YWCA in Bloomington. This interactive gathering will begin with informal networking, followed by guided table discussions and a large group conversation. 

  
  

  This event will dive into the concepts of Safe Spaces & Brave Conversations. It’s a great opportunity to connect with peers, share insights, and explore strategies for fostering inclusive dialogue in the workplace. *Update: This event has now been approved for 1-hour general SHRM and HRCI recertification credits.

  • 11:45 AM - Virtual attendees login to webinar (a Microsoft Teams link will be sent a day prior to the event; join on a device with or without a camera; there will be a call-in feature), Membership vote on Board of Director nominations, Announcements + speaker introductions
  • 12:00 - 1:00 PM - Virtual presentation by speaker followed by Q&A

  
  

  About the presentation: Professionals often struggle with fatigue, poor sleep quality, and low energy due to stress, wellness habits that start in the home, and workload demands. This session, Better Sleep and Energy for HR

  Professionals, equips participants with practical, natural strategies to improve sleep, restore energy, and build lifestyle habits that directly impact performance and well-being.

  
  

  Re-certification Credits: 1-hour general HRCI and 1 SHRM professional development credit (PDC) will be shared with attendees after the meeting. 

   

  Boxed lunch options (for in-person attendees): 

  • Turkey Deluxe – Roasted turkey breast, leafy lettuce, tomato, on an Ancient Grain bun and assorted cheeses. Includes chips, pickle, and chocolate chip cookie.
  • Ham Deluxe - Ham, leafy lettuce, tomato, on an All-butter Croissant and assorted cheeses. Includes chips, pickle, and chocolate chip cookie.
  • Nutty-Mixed Up Salad - Grilled, 100% antibiotic-free chicken breast, grapes, strawberries, cranberry-walnut mix, organic field greens, and feta with balsamic vinaigrette and chocolate chip cookie.
  • Veggie Sandwich – Organic spinach, guacamole, hummus, Roma tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, on an Ancient Grain bun with Fresh fruit and chocolate chip cookie.

  
  

  Anyone can attend in place of an active BNHRC member. Guests are also welcomed to attend. The guest fee is $15 and must be paid by the registration deadline.   • LEARN: Roundtables are designed for BNHRC members to have an open discussion and a safe space to share and learn from each other. 
  • NETWORK: A guest may attend in place of a BNHRC member and will be asked to include the BNHRC member's name on their registration.

  About the Event: BNHRC warmly invites you to our annual holiday party and member appreciation event. We are thrilled to host an in-person, open-house gathering where breakfast will be served. As usual, we encourage you to wear your most festive holiday attire, whether it's outrageous, ugly, or simply festive! Enjoy a morning of fun, including networking, games, raffle prizes, and more.

  Who can attend? While this event is targeted for BNHRC member appreciation, anyone can attend in place of an active member or as a guest. This is a great opportunity to expose someone to BNHRC or for someone considering joining BNHRC to get to know us and learn more about our chapter. The guest fee is $15 and must be paid by the registration deadline below per our event payment policies.
